Surprised!

After two weeks of Latte Liberate it dawned on me that I hadn't had a single hot flush! Which means better sleep, better mood, better me (for everyone else in the house!!). I'd tried lots of supplements but this one works for me (and it's yummy). Give it a go!

Thanks for the review Helen and really happy to hear that its working for you and that your household is much happier ;)

Vanilla Happy
Joy Clarke
Energy Booster

since using Vanilla Happy, my energy is stable and strong through the day and i feel calm and balanced. I have found i can't have it at night though (as much as I would love to include it as a warm, goodnight drink) as it keeps me awake. Daytime is great though.

Thanks for lovely review Joy and really happy to hear you're experiencing the benefits of Vanilla Happy. Some people are okay taking it at night, however for others the Maca can keep them awake and that's why we recommend taking sometime during the day. :)

Did you know that sugar gives us wrinkles?

Yes you read right ladies - put that ice cream down right now ;)

A process called glycation occurs when you eat too much sugar.  Glycation is the method in which the sugar in your bloodstream attaches to proteins and forms harmful new molecules called advanced glycation end products (AGEs).  The more sugar you eat the more AGEs you develop.

Besides damaging collagen, a high-sugar diet also affects what type of collagen you have.

I’m always getting compliments about my skin and constantly asked what skincare range I use - it’s not the skincare range!! I don’t eat a lot of sugar and haven’t since my early 30s.

Sugar and collagen are not friends. Collagen is present in the body and it’s what makes us look younger. As we age, collagen naturally depletes in the body. Sugar accelerates this process.

How to reduce sugar in your diet

Read labels. There are plenty of hidden sugars in our foods such as yoghurts, tomato sauce, packaged foods, pre-made meals, cereals and more.

Of course reduce your intake of chocolate, cakes, cookies and other sugary delights. We all need something sweet once in a while, I get it, however there are plenty of recipes on the blog that are sugar free and super delicious. Give them a try...your face will thank you for it!
