Immune Boosting Orange Cinnamon Smoothie

Take extra steps to ensure your immune system is boosted. This is quick and very tasty smoothie - refreshing too!


  • 1 large carrot, peeled and cut into small chunks
  • 1 large orange (regular or blood orange)
  • 200ml fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp chia seed (more if you are making smoothie bowls).
  • 200ml plain cultured yogurt or coconut yoghurt
  • 3 to 4 dates, pitted (optional) 
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil


Put everything into a blender, mix and serve.
